While pursuing his degree in Construction Management at the University of North Florida, Elijah trained with his brother at a large asphalt contractor in Jacksonville, FL. During his time there he positioned himself to start and scale a branch of this company in Jacksonville. During his time here, he participated in Leadership Jacksonville programs intended to build out the managing power and develop his managing power.

Once transferring to USF to pursue a degree in Finance, Elijah began applying his knowledge and educational virtue towads restructuring back office operations. His expediency with directing all finance has been instrumental in helping scale Apex Asphalt Contractors, LLC.
